
COVID-19 - Shop Update!
Here’s a bit of an update on our shop schedule, taking into account the return of staff member Sarah on Fridays:
- Monday/Tuesday: 12 noon - 4 pm (by appointment; email mail@thefibrenook.com if you’d like an appointment)
- Wednesday/Thursday : 1130 am - 630 pm (by appointment; email mail@thefibrenook.com if you’d like an appointment)
- Friday/Saturday: 11 am - 7 pm (no appointment necessary; 5 shoppers at a time, first come, first serve)
- Sunday: 12 noon - 5 pm (no appointment necessary; 5 shoppers at a time, first come, first serve)
These timelines provide the full extent of hours that a shopper can physically access our space by appointment or via the 5 shopper limit.
Shop activity has been hopping (big thank you!), so we added some space Monday through Thursday for our oh, so dedicated team to deal with online orders & phone messages before folks start coming through the door & to take care of closure details at the end of their shift.
All COVID-related protocols are in place: everyone wears their mask or face covering at all times (if you forget, which happens to us all, we’ll have a mask for you); hand sanitizer use upon entry; constant cleaning by our team.
Online shopping continues to be a viable option 24/7. You’ll get an email telling you when you order has been filled & is ready for pick-up. Our team works quickly to fulfill online orders, so you can pursue your fibre activity as soon as possible.
Canada Post mail-outs generally happen the day orders are placed. That is, unless you placed your order late the night before 😊
