The new year is a good reason to start something new, learn something new, and continue bettering oneself. New class list is up now. January is already looking amazing!
While you are always welcome to come in and work on your projects any time you like, we have set up some official drop-in times. During these times, we invite you to come and join a group of fellow fibre enthusiasts, have a cup of tea or coffee, and work on your projects for a few hours. Mondays at 2:00 pm Thursdays at 10:00 am Fridays at 6:00 pm Saturdays at 6:00 pm
Join us for our official Grand Opening! Special guests include the Grocery Girls at 11 am. the Wandering Woolies for their meeting #546 at 2 pm, and others still to be confirmed. A woolish-ribbon cutting, giveaways, a big basket draw and 10% off (on top of the regular 5% tote bag discount) shopping round out the day. Just confirmed... The Alberta Yarn Project will arrive with their trunks of yarn at 5 pm, to help TFN celebrate wool-related collaborations! Can't wait to see their trunk show in the shop!
TFN now has a presence on Ravelry. We have a "shop" page, are a "group" & the two are linked thanks to some nice folks sharing their expertise. We encourage you to check out both, and to begin linking your stash that has connection to TFN and/or start a discussion. There is a trail started in answer to, "everyone has a story, tell us yours". We look forward to hearing from you on Ravelry in that part of TFN community. #localyarnshop #ravelry #yarnstash #woolstories #handcraftstories #tellusaboutyourloveofyarn
