Easy Everyday Wearables is all about fuss-free crochet designs that are stylish, timeless and very wearable but only use basic crochet skills. We've used chunkier yarns for quicker makes but not sacrificed our usual attention to detail and fit. All patterns have inclusive adult sizing with three options for accessories and XS to 5X for garments.
In The Shawl Project: Book One, we share our love of shawls and show you the secrets of shaping them, tips for incorporating stitch patterns and a beautiful pattern demonstrating each shape. All the examples use just one 100g skein of 4ply yarn, making these patterns the perfect stash buster or excuse to buy a special skein. Whether you’d like to make your first shawl, learn to design your own or just understand a little more about what makes them so special, this is the book for you.
Book Two shawls are a little bigger, a little more solid so a little warmer than Book One shawls. Never fear, we have made them still with the same sense of proportion, beautiful drape and ease of wear you would expect from us. With two skeins to play with on each shawl we explore colour and texture, with more techniques and shapes.
Book Three: The patterns work well whether you want to invest in mini skein sets or if you want to use up small amounts of yarn left over from other projects that is just too nice not to use (sock knitters will identify with this problem in particular), with each pattern using either a 100g pack of 4ply mini skeins or a pack of mini skeins and an additional 100g of 4ply yarn.

Book Five:
All the previous books in the collection featured designs for 4ply/fingering weight yarn. This one is a bit different: each pattern uses laceweight yarn.
I used to be slightly afraid of finer yarn, I found it fiddly and thought it took too long to work up. But as I started to play around with it, I created patterns that are naturally quick to grow and where the need to find tiny spaces to put your hook are minimised. Now I love laceweight: it gives a finesse to every pattern you create with it and the delicate stitches can add a layer of magic to even the most ordinary stitches.
The shawls themselves are light as a feather and so small to pack into a bag. As for the extra time? Just see it as better value for money on your hobby! The ultimate in slow fashion.
