Learning Opportunities

Although we've begun the return to a new normal, due to ongoing COVID-related activity, we are continuing the pause on our regular Learning Opportunities -- classes, workshops, demonstrations. Please stay tuned for updates.

One on One:

The shop has a program for individual learning via one on one sessions, available for those who prefer to learn & work on projects outside of a class setting. Generally, when a request comes to the shop, we pair you with an instructor who is best suited to assist you. The shop has several instructors, many of whom you have taken classes from & have come to know. You’re welcome to request one on one sessions with specific instructors, as well! Here’s a quick overview of techniques we can help you with:

• Beginner knit, beginner crochet
• Knitting/crocheting garments from baby – adult
• Cables, mosaic, colourwork & lace knitting
• Colourwork crochet
• Brioche, double knitting
• Intermediate – advance knit & crochet stuffies
• Continental & English knitting, and left-handed knitting & crochet

Sessions are $15/half hour & $30/hour. If you & a friend are learning a technique together, we have a $25/half hour & $50/hour group rate for two people.
