WORKSHOP: HUNTER HAMMERSEN DIP STITCHES WITH SUSAN

Regular price $65.00
DESCRIPTION
This lovely technique creates a double-sided fabric that is visually appealing on both sides. Hunter Hammersen has gathered several variations of dip stitches into her book “Firmament”. Dip stitches pull the working yarn through stitches below the row you’re working on, creating an elongated stitch that is added to the row of live stitches. The stitch created will vary based on how far the pulled through yarn travels across the fabric diagonally and in length. The effect is quite stunning and a great technique to learn. “Firmament” is included in the workshop. Bring your favourite yarn and needles to practice with. NOTE: to ensure participants receive adequate instruction, we’re capping enrollment to a maximum of five.
