DESCRIPTION
Learn the basic techniques in cable knitting. We’ll be knitting the Antler Toque by Tin Can Knits. Please bring the required yarn & materials listed below and we’ll show you all the tips and tricks you’ll need to know for knitting cables.

PREREQUISITE
KNIT BASICS CLASS or equivalent.
SKILL LEVEL
Advanced beginners who are comfortable with knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast on, bind off, knitting in the round & have completed a simple project following a pattern.

MATERIALS
100 g worsted weight yarn
4mm 16” circular needles or a set of 5 6” 4mm needles
5 mm 16“ circular needles and DPNs
scissors, darning needle, stitch markers & cable knitting needles
HOMEWORK
Please print out the Antler Toque pattern, a free pattern from Tin Can Knits. Work the k1, p1 ribbing for your desired size, stopping at the Cable Section in the pattern.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1
Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies for the class.
Should supplies be required & bought in shop, a 10% discount will be applied to a one time purchase only, before or on the first day of class. Customers showing their TFN tote bag will receive an additional 5% discount.
Staff will confirm the class registration details at time of discounted supplies purchase.
