DESCRIPTION
Everywhere you look right now, it’s GRANNY SQUARES! This crochet technique is really having a moment. Learn how to create colourful granny squares & join them together in this fun class! Students will leave with their very own Granny Square, which can become a coaster or the first piece in a bigger project (a hat, scarf, blanket, or even cardigan).
Techniques covered will include: magic circle, puff stitch and changing colours seamlessly, seam-as-you-go.
Saturdays, November 16 & 23, 10am-12 noon
PREREQUISITE
Chain, slip knot, single crochet, double crochet.
SKILL LEVEL
This class is perfect for intermediate beginners looking to add something new to their crochet repertoire.

MATERIALS
Up to four colours of ~25 grams yarn all in the same weight (granny squares are great stash busters, bring your bits and ends). A crochet hook compatible with your yarn.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1
Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies for the class.
Should supplies be required & bought in shop, a 10% discount will be applied to a one time purchase only, before or on the first day of class. Customers showing their TFN tote bag will receive an additional 5% discount.
Staff will confirm the class registration details at time of discounted supplies purchase.
