Depending on the size of socks you need, you may get up to 3 pairs from one tube- fantastic! Sock tubes are made on a circular sock knitting machine, that is hand cranked. Tubes made on different cylinder sizes will be available to fit a variety of sizes, including children. You'll need to know or be comfortable with learning: -picking up stitches -cutting your yarn in specific spots -adding afterthought heels, toes, and cuffs This set includes: One (1) hand-cranked sock tube, in KR Twist yarn, on a 60 needle cylinder in the colour Mallard Gauge: 8.5 sts/inch Sizing recommendations: for finished socks to correspond with women's shoe sizes 6.5 to 10.5 or Men's shoe size 6 to 9 Rows: 508 completed rows Length: 127 cm/ 50" Shown on a medium sock blocker Three (3) mini skeins for heels, toes and cuffs- Blackberry Pear mini-skein set. Generally speaking, 60 needle cylinder is most like handknitting socks with 64 stitches and can accommodate the majority of women's shoe sizing; men's shoe sizes can be accommodated on the 72 needle cylinder -48 needle cylinder is recommended for youth shoe sizes. -54 needle cylinder is recommended for shoe sizes between: Women 5 through 8 and Men 6 and 6.5 -60 needle cylinder is recommended for shoe sizes between: Women 6.5/Men 6 through Women 10.5/Men 9 -72 needle cylinder is recommended for shoe sizes between: Women 11+/Men 9.5 through Mens 13
